How to update/Import data in Matastock/Amibroker

Dear Moderator,

Please put up the detailed the procedure of how to update/import data in Metastock/Amibroker as it was presented in yahoo group bse-nse2005, so that a new member could also take benefit, and he must not ask here and there for the procedure.

It will also be a good effort of this forum for a new member who is not much femliar with charting software.
