Ieod data from 9-15-2008 to 21-07-2009

Respected prashant and my dear friends,

I have uploaded IEOD amibroker data from 9-15-2008 to 21-07-2009 in mediafire.com. The data is 110 mb, which was splitted in to 6 parts by hjsplit. Links are given below. First one is hjsplit. Remaining six are IEOD data.

why dont we just post the torrent of these files so you get all the data at one shot than doing it in peices ?... I had once upon a time done it though the data needs to be updated now, I simply dont have time to contribute to this community.. but here is what I done some years ago.. you'll need a demoniod account to download the torrent,


This torrent contains Metastock 9 with the nocd crack. Also contains complete collection of Indian Securities data till November 11, 2006 in Meta Stock format. The zip files include NSE and BSE data, Sensex since 1979 and Nifty since 1995. I have taken care so as to no errors occur in compiling this torrent but if there are any, do overlook as its been months of individual hard work to get till here.

I have compressed IEOD Data from 850mb to 117 mb with winrar and the same was uploaded for you. No need for splitting and merging with hjsplit software. You can comfortably download and extract with winrar. Further you note that data is from 9-15-2008 to 04th august 2009 i.e upto today.Link is given below.

dear vijay,
it has been noticed that all IEOD data contain negative opening volume(a sizable amount with reference to daily trading volume). this is generating contradiction in short term & long term volume indicator like accu/dist chart, OBV,MFI . It is highly confusing.
plz, let me know the significance of this data.is it appropriate to skip this data without affecting overall scenario?

Dear Raju,

Yes, negative volume is there in many scrips. I am using IEOD data only for suport and ressistance levels. The entire IEOD data is downloaded from this site only. since from the begining this problem is there. Regarding your question i don't know how to skip this data (negative volume )only without affecting overall scenario.

May be prashant may answer this question.

My sujjession use the volume indicators you mentioned above on eod data. In IEod data find ressistance and support levels on hourly or halfanhour basis.

DEAR Vijay & prashant,
since this is the opening volume , it can be skipped if i skip import of first line .but the real problem is that it is in sizable amount , hence any deletion will distort picture.
but is'nt deletion of negetive volume is better than addition.

yes i have donwloaded the data that was present in (message no 6) that data was compressed and is of 875 mb after extraced... but after extraction it showed like a number of folders ..(like a database)and i was confused..as iam new to amibroker..and dont knwo much about creating new database and all stuff. so can u tell me what do i do with it.. how should i feed that into my amibroker software... do i have to just cop and paste it or what???.plss let me know... thanks for ur time & help...god bless uu..
