Nifty Option Trading

Trend has turned decisively negative on hourly bars. Substantial fall from here not ruled out.

Current Nifty (Spot): 4520.00

Buy Nifty June 4400 PE @ 68.50 (Current Rate).

No Stop for trade. Will follow up this thread.

Next major support zone is 4400 (Current Nifty Spot: 4336). One can book some some profits since at that level, options will be around 110.00 which gives a ROI of around 60% for a holding period of 1 Day.

Trend is still weak. Shall post when shorter term trend turns so that one can move out of the position.

Trend did not weaken to the level anticipated. Position is now bit of risk since short term trend while not strong is out of weak zone. Since option is out of the money, its better to quit and wait for a new entry.

This trade was sort of Contra Trade with the view of making gains if the trend that emerged late yesterday held. Global weakness has meant that this did not happen and the option is currently down by around 10 Rupees.

A move below 4470 should mean a exit from the option.
