hi guys,

I am currently trading with RELIANCE MONEY. Since they dont have a good trading platform which supports intraday trading, I am planning to change the broker.

My average daily volume is more than 40 lakhs and am trading in nifty futures.

INDIA BULLS has offered me 0.01% per leg for trading in futures.

Do you think this is a good rate? Is there is a chance to bargain for a lesser rate? Please advice..................

btw, what is the current SERVICE TAX rate ? and whether it is charged on brokerage + other transaction costs ????????

just came across wwwdotgeojitdotcom...........u can view the rates they certainly competitive than u have stated..

( Btw by no means I m concerned with geojit...)

i am also wiling to hv a good trading platform with reasonable rate...

Do't go to Geojit, they are killing with charges, They charge Rs.35 per MINI nifty lot that comes about rs 95 per mininifty lot more than .06%

If you want to trade International markets, go with IB. For India, they still haven't got their pricing right. Unless you are looking at Auto trading using AmiBroker, I see no point trading Indian Equities through them.

Angel broking, ODIN platform is also good, they gives all exchanges on single screen(nse,bse,mcx,ncdex,fx...)

One can choose Ibulls for its plain Vanila type reliable trading plateform.
I am using IBulls for the past 6 years.They have good system.Very rarely system hangs.On critical days (Read When Market crashes) Ibulls system found to be Live & running.Third party Amibroker plugins are available for intra day charts.
RM support is poor and they have decentralised trading call wings.Each unit used to have different trading calls.Sometimes two different unit giving contrdictory calls for the same scrip. One can Ignore all these minor points.
Option trading is difficult as I bulls restrict trading in so called Illiquid Options (Still I didnot get any satisfactory Answer From IBulls for this restriction)
