Friends,
I have using data (EOD/IEOD)from this site to build up my AB database since last yr. For this i am very thankful 2 this site. Of late the IEOD data loadup in AB is taking almost 12 min for each day, it used 2 take abt 1 min 45 sec a few weeks back. I was loading the DB on a template with many AFL's and many charts, so i changed the dataload template and made it very simple with very few charts. This improved the load time by half to 6 min. My BD setting are - base time interval- 5 min & no pf bars- 30,000. Another issue could be my RAM is only 512 MB.
In view of the abv can u suggest a solution (other than increasing RAM) I could do to speed up the DB load time like changes to by DB settings, etc.
Thanks and appreciate yr help.

As the size of database increases, it starts becoming slower than ever. Only way out is to either Upgrade the RAM (2GB is nowadays the optimal) or to delete some of the historical data (manually) so as to reduce the size.

Other than above 2 options, there are no other options that can speed up the operation.
